Dear Parents,

You are cordially invited to attend your child’s the Eighth Grade Recognition Ceremony on Friday, May 23, 2008. The program will take place at the Germantown Church of Christ located at 8723 Poplar Pike in Germantown. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will last about an hour and a half. Students should arrive by 8:45 a.m. and go to the west side of the church (under the covered walkway) to line up with their homeroom teachers (in alphabetical order). Parents are responsible for providing transportation to and from the ceremony for their children.

Students are expected to dress appropriately. We want everyone to look his/her best for this memorable ooccassion. Girls must wear dresses or skirts/dress slacks and blouses. (Sleeveless and spaghetti strap tops are not allowed.) Because this is a special event, jeans, beach shoes and athletic shoes are prohibited.

We are looking forward to sharing this special day with you and your family. Please help us to make this a memorable event for everyone.

In respect of the church, we request that you do not bring any food or beverages into the building.
