Don’t forget to work on your simple machines project so this week so that you don’t have to worry about it over spring break. 

Monday – TSW complete the 3rd Think Link Assessment for required for 8th grade science.  TSW complete a series of Think Link Practice Probes created by the teacher.

Homework:  Make sure that you have completed the following sections in your science workbook:  Ch. 16 Section 4, Chapter 17 Section 2 & Chapter 18 Sections 2-3.  You should have completed them all by last Thursday.

Tuesday – TTW conduct an oral review of the section reviews on textbook pages 463 – 467 and Chapter 17 section 2 in the science workbook.  TSW begin the chapter 17 Review.  Spi8.11.6

Homework:  Study the information we covered in class today.

Wednesday – TSW complete the chapter 17 Review and compare answers with group members.  TSW apply his or her understanding of forces in motion to a classwork assignment.  Spi8.11.1,3,4

Thursday – TSW apply his or her understanding of forces in motion to a classwork assignment.   Spi.8.11.1,3,4

Homework:  Finish your paper on your assigned Law of Motion.

Friday – TSW apply his or her understanding of simple machines to a classwork assignment.  TTW allow class time for students to meet regarding special projects before spring break.

Homework:  Enjoy your break!

REMEMBER, Your simple machines project is due the Wednesday after you return (March 26th)  and your Laws of Motion paper is due either April 1st, 2nd or 3rd (depending on the law you were assigned).  If you have forgotten the details, SEE THE SPECIAL PROJECTS LINK ON THE FIRST PAGE OF THIS BLOG.
