Monday – TSW classify organisms as reproducing sexually or asexually (7.4.tpi.3).

Tuesday – TSW complete the classification activity from yesterday and create a study guide for the final assessment over asexual VS. sexual reproduction & plants.

Over the holiday break, please be sure to study your notes on plants (anatomy, pollination, fertilization, wind pollination, animal pollination) and the comparison and contrast of asexual and sexual reproduction as well as the advantages/disadvantages of sexual and asexual reproduction. We will review this information when we return from the break and there will be a quiz. Remember this information is not in the book so DON’T FORGET TO TAKE YOUR FOLDERS HOME.

EARN EXTRA CREDIT FOR THE 3rd NINE WEEKS: During the break, I am sure that you (or your parents) will do lots of baking and make plenty of big breakfast omelets. Save your STYROFOAM egg cartons and bring them with you when you return to class next year, we will need them for an exciting lab. (You might even ask your neighbors for their egg cartons as well.) I will award 5 extra credit points for up to two (2) egg carton donations (please feel free to donate more). I will also award points for any of the following donations for lab activities:
